Presently, Kids Music Company Ltd in New Zealand conducts classes and workshops for children and teachers, both domestically and in Australia.
In order to share our philosophy and to ensure the benefits are made accessible to children who are not able to attend our classes in New Zealand, KMC has incorporated a vehicle under the flagship of "Kids Music Company International Limited" (KMCI) to undertake the task of promoting multi-sensory learning through the power of movement and music internationally. KMCI has developed a Structured Programme under the More Than Music series to complement current programmes being taught at existing early learning establishments and/or to new early childhood learning centres that wish to introduce our philosophy and methodology to their students. Our international licensing agreement enables such establishments to utilize our Structured Programme and brand name.
KMCI is also developing narrated illustrated books with accompanying music CDs and animated DVDs for our exciting new More Than Music series, based on our original songs with illustrated, educational Activity Books for pre-schoolers aged 2 to 5 years. These new collections will enable children to learn from home and/or in early childhood centres utilizing our interactive music programme under the supervision of the parents or caregivers and/or teachers.
The More than Music series from KMCI will not only motivate children to move, it will also provide them with opportunities to understand language, listen effectively, and develop social skills, whilst at the same time developing essential eye strength, coordination, a good memory - and also a singing voice. All fundamental skills are encompassed within the essential or key learning areas of school curricula, thus are essential building blocks for learning and for the enjoyment of life.
